The Community Building Administration is responsible for the long-term physical planning of the city and builds a sustainable city, based on a holistic view of urban development and local supply. The administration works purposefully to make Mölndal an attractive, sustainable, and successful city in the region. The assignment includes, among other things, strategic community planning, comprehensive and detailed planning, plan implementation, as well as management and development of Mölndal's own real estate portfolio, investment projects, land and exploitation, traffic development, and long-term planning of land and water use. The work takes place in a dynamic and development-oriented environment, where we together create the best conditions for the city's residents and businesses.
The position is located in the unit for Business Support and Development in the Real Estate Department. We support the entire Community Building Administration in matters concerning development, administration, and digital tools.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
About the Position
As a business developer within the Community Building Administration in Mölndal City, you have a central role in the administration's development work. You work across the administration to develop and implement processes, methods, and routines and support departments and units in their development and change work.
The role is independent and strategic, with significant personal responsibility. You drive development issues from analysis to implementation and coordinate working groups where multiple functions and perspectives need to collaborate.
Your Main Responsibilities
Processes, Methods, and Routines
- Develop, implement, and further develop processes within the Community Building Administration
- Develop common methods and routines that create efficiency, quality, and clarity
Support in the Administration's and Units' Development Work
- Design structures and methods for effective and coordinated development work throughout the administration
- Highlight and analyze development needs in the administration's various units to enable prioritization
- Independently drive development projects and lead working groups
Planning, Monitoring, Management, and Governance
- Contribute to developing and clarifying the administration's structure for planning and monitoring
- Support departments and units in their work with goals, monitoring, and governance
QUALIFICATIONS
You have a university or college education of at least three years that the employer deems relevant. You have documented experience in business development and are used to analyzing complex contexts, drawing conclusions, and translating them into concrete improvement measures. You work in a structured and independent manner, take responsibility for your assignment, and drive work towards goals with good quality.
Furthermore, you have a very good analytical ability, a clear holistic perspective, and a strong interest in change and development work. You thrive in a role where you can contribute to development in collaboration with others and where you need to balance strategic thinking with operational implementation.
It is an advantage if you have experience working in public operations, preferably related to community building issues. Experience working with tools and methods for process development is also seen as a benefit.
